Churches Together In Loughton (CTL) is a relational network of churches in the Loughton area, which have a common desire to encourage one another and to work together to see the town positively impacted by the love of Jesus.
CTL dates back to the 1940s, and relationships and partnerships between the local churches have had many different expressions through the years. These have included prayer initiatives, community outreach events, Easter marches, Lent courses, and several social action projects. Currently, the local church leaders meet once a month to pray together, once a month to plan, and then periodically for days away or annual retreats to pray, plan, encourage one another, and hear from God. From this, we have developed really strong and genuine friendships between us, and have all committed to serving a wider agenda than just that of our own churches. Recent initiatives have included Loughton Street Pastors, Loughton Foodbank, and the Love Loughton community event.
CTL is currently led by Wayne Dulson (from Loughton Baptist Church) and Ian King (from Restore Community Church).
